Direction Inc. is an SEO & Web Design/Development firm seeking a highly motivated, responsible and organized individual for the position of WordPress Developer. This position requires a combination of WordPress/Elementor/CSS/JS/PHP skills, as well as a design eye. The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and a firm understanding of the entire web development process. Design, development, and deployment. As a WP developer, an ideal candidate would not only have the requisite proficiency in various coding languages to work for a web design & development company, but more importantly, have a collaborative mindset with the initiative to engage and manage multiple projects concurrently.

We are looking for someone who has the experience with seeing website builds from blueprint to launch, and is able to address issues post-launch. As a tight-knit team, we operate in a fast-moving and constantly-communicating environment.

Salary: TBD Based on Experience ($40k-$80k+/year)

*Begins after our standard 3-month probationary period

  • Full-time (Salary)
  • 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Thursday
  • 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Fridays

Note: These are the standard hours during your first three months. After our standard three-month probationary period, hours and work location are flexible.

  • Firm understanding of Elementor
  • Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, identify and resolve problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Experience with Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with WordPress speed optimization
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
