What are the types of posts that can be published via the tool?

One of the main features of our tool is related to gathering and managing feedback about your locations. This can be done on multiple platforms, all from one inbox. Additionally, social posts will ensure that the latest content and relevant deals are shared at the right time, on the right channels.

There are several types of posts that can be created on the Publish tab:


You can use these posts to give information or updates about your business. You can choose to have them scheduled, so you will have something prepared ahead of time. However, some features are restricted to certain directories. For example, you cannot post a job ad in the blog section.

This is where you can offer special deals or promotional sales to people who visit your home within a specific time range. (For example, from January 1st to January 31st, or from 10am to 2pm on Saturdays.) These offers are unpublished at the end date. However, depending on the directory, certain features may be available/required.

On Google My Business an offer must be created at least one day before its start date


If you are having an event, like a bake-off contest or book signing, you can use this section to advertise it. You can choose to have the event today or in the future. The event will be for a limited time only.

Questions & Answers

This is a Google Search specific section for you to retrieve questions, post answers, and provide frequently asked questions on your business locations. When using this feature here on the Publish tab, you must post both question and answer.

When a customer asks a question, you can post the answer to it via the Customer Feedback tab‍  (as if it was a review you can reply).


Publish at least 5 Q&As to your Direction Local Location Profile upon signup to give yourself an immediate boost in local search rankings on Google.

COVID-19 Post

This is a Google Search section for you to post COVID-19 updates about your business locations. Text content and a call to action button are supported.

Google is increasing the visibility of posts like this in search results, so make sure to update your community on any changes or closures.
