Position: Content Specialist

Direction Inc. is a world-class SEO firm that is highly motivated to bring new, talented people who share our love for marketing onto our team and expand the business.
As a content specialist, you will work within the content team, working directly with the SEO team to build content strategies, create compelling webpage copy, optimize call-to-actions (CTA’s), and create engaging, SEO-driven blog posts for a variety of exciting B2B and B2C industries.
Content specialists are “the voice” of our clients, so the ability to produce quality content while matching a variety of tones and styles is essential.
This is a fully remote position. An ideal candidate would not only have the requisite proficiency in various forms of writing to work for an SEO firm, but more importantly have a collaborative mindset with the initiative to engage and manage multiple projects concurrently. You must be a team player, and willing to speak with clients regarding content needs & strategies.
Salary: Depending on Experience, $29,000/year – $50,000/year (starting)

*Begins after our standard 3-month probationary period

- 9:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Thursday (EST)
- 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Fridays (EST)

- You will be required to write roughly 10 blog posts (1,000+ words)/product-service pages (500+ words) weekly
- Thoroughly research topics to enhance and substantiate content
- Reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
- Use SEO best practices in writing
- Edit content produced by other members of the team
- Work closely with the SEO teams to receive feedback and modify content as necessary
- Preparing detailed content strategies & reports
- Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
- Writing powerful calls-to-action to convert visitors
- Filling website blogs and pages with effective keywords and keyword phrases
- Writing effective SEO content for blogs and website pages
- Analyzing keywords and content strategies used by competitors
