What is Domain Authority?

Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how likely a website is to rank in organic search results. Domain Authority is formed by a conglomerate of factors including the amount of links and quality of linking domains. Domain Authority scores ranges from 1 to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater ability to rank.

A domain authority score tells you how powerful and authoritative the website is in relation to other websites on the internet. The higher your domain authority score, the higher your website pages tend to rank, and the rankings will impact how people will trust your site when they see it ranked among the top search engine results pages (SERPs).

Domain Authority isn’t an exact science; there are many factors that go into determining what domain authority means for any given website. However, it’s generally accepted that most top sites on the internet have a domain authority of 50-90.
